Prenatal
Pregnancy is a special time in a woman's life where she has a unique opportunity to connect with her inner wisdom during the process of creating new life. Prenatal yoga provides space for the expectant mother to quiet the mind and bring focus to the baby while strengthening, balancing and stretching the physical body in anticipation of the birth process. Pranayama, asana, relaxation and visualization techniques all come into play bringing spirit and magic back into the art of preparing to giving birth! Give yourself the gift of yoga to create your special space.
Mommy and Me
We'll begin each class by centering through the breath, then move into gentle stretching for both mom and infant. Mom's will initially focus on opening the chest and shoulders, so often rounded forward while caring for baby. Core strengthening comes into play to restore the abdominals; standing and balancing poses have the capacity to enhance focus and strength both internally and externally. Meditation, relaxation and visualization allow time to explore emotional boundaries and expectations. Baby yoga provides gentle stretching to facilitate extending the boundaries of their world along with twisting to aid digestion, gentle inversions for a new perspective and playful massage for relaxation. Yoga provides a simple, portable tool for new moms to deepen their connection with their new infant. Mommy & Me classes work best with children between 1 month and crawling.

Daddy & Me yoga introduces new ways to bond with your infant through touch, sound and movement. Establishing this special connection with your child also gives Mom some much needed downtime to rebuild her energy and enthusiasm for your expanding family.
